Vincent M. Colello

COLONIE, NY – Vincent M. Colello, 57, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 14, 2011. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Vincent L. and Helen P. Colello. Vinnie was currently working as Supervisor of Security for St. Peter's Hospital for twenty years. He also ran his own carpet cleaning business. Vinnie was a member of the Fuller Road Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed, camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Vinnie is the beloved husband of 22 years to Lori J. (Lawya) Colello. He is the devoted father of Michael V., Nicholas A., and Christopher J. Colello and Penny J. Colello. Vinnie is the loving brother of his twin, Anthony (John Poggoli) Colello, Gregory Colello and Brian (Debbie) Colello. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Vanessa and Ricky and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Autism Society of America, Albany Chapter, 101 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 in memory of Vincent M. Colello.
