Vincent D. Stevens was born on May 17, 1960, to parents Ross W. Stevens, Jr. and DeLaura June Proby Stevens in Westpoint, New York and was raised in Albany, New York. Vincent attended Albany City Schools and throughout his life worked in labor and service jobs. In his youth Vincent was a member of the Albany Boys Club and Siena College Judo Teams. He competed and performed in many demonstrations throughout the capital region. He earned a green belt under the tutelage of Sensei Ross Stevens his father. Vincent was especially proud to have performed during intermission at a WWF show at The Washington Avenue Armory. He was known for executing his favorite throw Harai Ogoshi. Throughout the years Vincent would often volunteer his time at the Capital City Rescue Mission ensuring others were well taken care of.

Vincent was predeceased by his parents and son Rashaeme Stevens. He is survived by his children, Marquis of Albany, NY, Shakeaya of Rochester, NY, LaQuan of Salisbury, Maryland, Vincent and Aireeonna of Schenectady, NY. Grandchildren Hezekiah and Blezzin. Siblings, Diahann of Atlanta, Georgia, Ricky, Nathran, Kevin and Derrell all of Memphis, Tennessee, Phillip of New York, NY, Marva, Ross and Aanarian (Valerie) all of Albany, NY and a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hour from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend his Celebration Service at the funeral home starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery, (Route 378 Entrance), Menands, NY 12204.
