ALBANY – Virginia C. Person, 75, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
Virginia was born on May 14, 1939 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia (Hammond) Lasher. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to Foxwoods and Racino.
Virginia is survived by her loving sister, Ann C. Jennings; her loving niece, Debra Jennings (Charles Lovejoy); her great nephew, Robert C. Brown; her great great niece, Vanessa A. Gumlaw; her great great nephew, Charles J. Brown; her great great great niece, Karina J. Gumlaw and several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Person; her son, Joseph Person; her brother-in-law, Charles M. Jennings and her nephew, Charles B. Jennings.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:30 to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
