Rotterdam- Virginia M. "Ginny" Cable, 69, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Rotterdam- Virginia M. "Ginny" Cable, 69, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Ginny was born to Robert and Elfriede Mays on July 14, 1947 in Darmstadt, Germany. Ginny was a graduate of Colonie Central High, and a graduate of Europe Beauty School. She worked 20 years as a bus driver for Guilderland School District. Ginny loved to make people laugh, and that she did. She was a beloved wife, and a wonderful mother.
She is predeceased by her father, Robert Mays, and also by George and Grace Cable, George Cable, Kevin Cable, Wendy Cable, and Joseph P. Cable.
She is survived by her Husband, Floyd Cable, her two daughters; Michele Cable-Brisk (Raymond Smith ), and Melissa Persico (Sonny Guerrero ), her three sisters; Bernice Lawyer (Paul), Christa Castagna (Joe), and Ingrid Whitney, her mother, Elfriede Mays, her eight grandchildren; Dion Brisk, Ruben Guzman, Andrew Smith, Brittney Persico, Brianna Persico, Aaron Tansik, Anthony Guerrera, her three great-grandchildren; Grace Brisk, Owen Sweeney, and Meadow Guzman, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 10:00am-11:00am with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made in Ginny's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
