Virginia A. Darrigo, 81, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
Virginia was the daughter of the late Phillip and Rose (Torre) Darrigo. Virginia's life was centered around her career, she had a passion for the advertising industry. Virginia devoted her days and nights to her job and held positions first at Whitney's in her youth, then Flah's and eventually Barbizon. At one point, she opened her own business "Advantage Concepts" which she operated until retirement.
Virginia is survived by her niece, Marylou Campbell and nephews; Kevin P. Darrigo, Christopher P. Darrigo and Gerald Darrigo.
She is also survived by her sister in law, Barbara Darrigo, and several cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Besides her mother and father, Virginia was predeceased by her brother Philip J. Darrigo, as well as several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will be held on Monday July 31, 2017 at 12:00 pm from New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm., at the funeral home.
