Virginia Flansburg

GUILDERLAND-Virginia Flansburg, 75 passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Manor at Guilderland Center. She was born and raised in Albany, NY the daughter of the late Henry and Kathleen Richardson. Virginia enjoyed visiting Italy with her friend Mickie. She loved attending her grandson's baseball games and was also an animal lover. She also loved watching football games with her son.
Virginia is survived by her son Reggie (Dawn) Flansburg and their children Brandan and Brett Flansburg and daughter Debbie Flansburg and her children Amanda and Justin Fields. She is also survived by her great grandson Christopher and by a sister Mary (Joe) McCade.
The family would like to thank Donna Sand and the staff of A Wing at the Manor at Guilderland Center Nursing Home for the care they provided to Ginny.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her brother John Richardson.
Calling hours will be held from 11 to 12 PM on Friday, August 1, 2014 with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12 Noon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in memory of Virginia.
