Virginia R. Greene

GUILDERLAND- Virginia Rose (Goller) Greene, 95, passed away peacefully at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home.
Virginia was born in Freeport Long Island on February 27, 2018 daughter of the late Fredrick and Olga (Bahr) Goller.
She married Thom R. Greene in 1950 and they relocated to Guilderland from Long Island. She began her career as a Realtor, for 20 years she worked at Capital Homes Real Estate in Schenectady. She later founded her own company, Guilderland Real Estate. Virginia was also employed with NYS Dept. of Civil Service.
She was predeceased by her husband Thom and her siblings.
Virginia is survived by her children, Debora Modra of Athens and Raymond Greene (Kai) of Ithaca; grandchildren, Thom D. Greene, a niece, Patricia Hartmann of Mansfield, MA and other friends and relatives.
In keeping with her wishes, services will be private.
Virginia had a great compassion for animals. Those wishing to honor her memory may do so by making a memorial contribution to Animalkind in Hudson, NY.
