COLONIE – Virginia C. Nash of Colonie died on Thursday March 16, 2006 after a short illness.
She was born in Albany and had been a lifelong resident of Colonie. Virginia was employed by the State of New York Taxation and Finance Department for over 20 years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church and St. Francis Chapel.
Virginia was the daughter of the late Anthony and Maria Zarriello Nash. She was the sister of the late Mary Nash, Rita (Gerald) Mangiacotti, Dominick (Virginia) Nash and Carmen Nash.
She is survived by her brother Patrick (Jean) Nash of Colonie. She is the beloved aunt of Tony (Linda) Nash of Colonie, Maria Nash of Colonie, Sandra (Robert) Gross of Holliston, MA, Veronica ( Robert) Reichel of Colonie and several grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 9:30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Colonie. At Virginia's request, there will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Virginia's name, may be made to Saint. Francis Chapel, 145 Wolf Rd. Albany NY 12205
