Colonie- Virginia T. "Ginny" Clow, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to the late William and Beatrice Klein on October 15, 1940.
Virginia graduated from Schuyler High School and began her work in food service and home healthcare.
Virginia loved going to the ocean in New Jersey with her family where many cherished memories were made. She loved casinos and scratch-offs. She enjoyed gameshows, word searches, sitting in the sun and playing cards in the yard. She especially loved spending time with her beloved family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles A. Clow Sr. in 1981. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Mary, Frank, Joe, Bea, Bill, John, and Caroline.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Joanne Clow, Charles A. Clow Jr., and Denise Clow; her sister, Margaret Crupi; her special grandchildren, Karissa, Robert Jr., Matthew, James, Joey, and Ian; her great-grandchildren, Robert III, Kemper, Shealynn, Zoie, and Liam David; and many nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a great, selfless, giving person; a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
The family would like to thank the doctors and entire staff of the Surgical Neuroscience ICU floor of Albany Medical Center for their care and compassion.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A service will immediately follow at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Virginia's memory to a charity of your choice.
