October 29, 1927 — March 8, 2016
Rotterdam- Virginia Truszkowski, 88, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Capital Living Nursing Home. Virginia was the daughter of the late Leon and Helen Sobieski.
Virginia is predeceased by her husband Walter Truskowski and her brother Edward Sobieski.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Dickinson (Kevin) and Diane Vivian (Joseph) as well as her six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, her brother Leon Sobieski Jr., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Virginia was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 12:00pm-1:00pm. A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm with burial taking place at St. Adalbert's Cemetery.
