Virginia R. Tryon

Virginia Ruth Tryon (Kniskern), 97, of Schenectady, passed away on April 5, 2024 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush.
Virginia was the late daughter of Frank and Mildred Kniskern of Schenectady.
She was graduate from Nott Terrace High School with a diploma in Secretarial Science.
Virginia loved crafting and music. She was an avid seamstress, Chorus member, knitter, traveler, Bridge player and spent her Winters in Florida with her beloved husband, Bill. She worked for the Unitarian Church for 30 years before retiring.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, to Ranson (Bill) Tryon and her brother, Keith Kniskern.
Virginia is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Carol) Tryon, Cheryl (Bart) Balle and Liese (Richard) Holoday; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A committal service will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville NY on May 24, 2024 at 2PM.
