TROY—Virgiree McDonald Conyers, 91, entered into eternal peace on Monday, August 29 surrounded by her loving family.
Virgiree was born in Greeleyville, SC a daughter of the late Enoch and Carrie Lou McDonald. Virgiree retired from Samaritan Hospital as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
Virgiree was predeceased by her devoted husband, Fred Conyers; son, Billy Ross Conyers; daughter, Mae Frances Hilton; and her beloved siblings.
Survivors include her adoring daughters, Bettie Conyers Tomlin (Louis) and Freddie Conyers Burns; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Virgiree's family would like thank the nursing staff and CNA's on floor B-2, the activities department and Pastor Steve from the Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home for all the tender loving care shown to Mom during her stay.
Services will be held on Friday morning at 11 AM at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave. Troy, NY 12180. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Troy.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Bethel Baptist Church Friday morning from 9 to 11 AM.
