Vivian Anderson

GUILDERLAND – Vivian M. Anderson, 80, of Guilderland, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2005. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Germaine Hatton Carlson. Mrs. Anderson was a communicant of St. Madeleine Sophie Church. She loved flowers and enjoyed flower gardening. Vivian is the beloved wife of 56 years to James Anderson. She is the devoted mother of Christine Anderson and her husband, Andrew Snyder of Vermont, Janine Ralbovsky and her husband, James and Kara Johnson, all of Schenectady, Laurene Manning and her husband, William of Texas and the late Deborah Anderson. She is the sister of Germaine Dagostino and her husband, Raymond and Jo-Ann Carlson, all of Schenectady and the late George W. Carlson and his wife, Jane and Robert Carlson. Vivian is the cherished grandmother of Ethan Snyder, Heather and Taylor Ralbovsky, Kevin and Kyle Johnson, Adam Tucker and Matthew Manning. She is the sister-in-law of Barbara Carlson of Schenectady. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Vivian was predeceased by her son-in-law, Marc Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 13:00 a.m. at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Guilderland. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to City Mission of Schenectady, 425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY 12304 in memory of Vivian M. Anderson.
