We regret to announce the passing of Star Palmer born August 21, 1961, of Guilderland NY. Star passed on Wednesday March 23, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones, and beloved animals.

Star was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She loved the ocean, sun, adventure and animals of all kinds. Star was always kind, and loving to everyone she met. Her and husband George shared a love so strong for one another that it was cherished by many. Star was her boys biggest encourager and constant supporter. Her grandchildren were the light and purpose of her life. She will be forever loved and missed by all whom where blessed to be apart of her beautiful journey. She would want everyone to remember that "Life is a beach, and to enjoy it," and always, "Prayer-prayer."

Star is survived by her loving husband George Palmer Sr., sons George (Elizabeth), James, Jason, Theodore, and Kurtis Palmer, grandchildren Alysha, Jason, Devon, Emilie, Madison, Teigen, and Nora Palmer, sisters Robyn (Michael) Noyse, Adele Overbaugh, and Erika (David) Ludwig, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Star was predeceased by her mother Grace Putnam, son Ricky Palmer, and step father Charles Putnam, aunt Elaine Price, cousin Nancy (Harmony) Purrot-Hoffa.

A visitation will be held on Thursday March 31st from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY 12205
