PITTSFIELD, MA – Walker J. Miller, 84, of Pittsfield, formerly of Ballston Lake, NY, passed away on Saturday August 18, 2007 at Berkshire Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Mechanicville and was the son of the late Walker and Amelia Miller.
Walker was a WWII Army veteran. He was a longtime employee of NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. He maintained his unique sense of humor, joking with those around him right up until the very end.
Walker is the husband of 64 years to Mary Evans Miller. He is the father of Paul L (Jackie) Miller, Joel W. (Jennifer) Miller and the late Robert W. Miller Sr. He is the brother of Jenny Mae Lazotte. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in Memorys Garden.
