Walter F. Crevier

Schenectady - Walter Crevier, 87, passed away on Friday January 15, 2010 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness with his daughter by his side.
Walter was born in Keeseville, NY to Edward and Lueilla Crevier. He moved to the Schenectady area as a child and later met his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Moran. Walter loved to spend time with his family and listen to the Brooklyn Dodgers on the radio with Dorothy.
In addition to his parents, Walter is predeceased by his wife Dorothy; two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his son Michael (Karen) Crevier of Schenectady and his daughter Jeanette Hansen of Glens Falls. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Steven and Jennifer and his great-grandson, Logan, his sister, Lillian Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt 155-South of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Walter's honor.
