Walter H. Fick

Princetown, NY- Walter H. Fick, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Born in Germany he was the son of the late Erna and Albert Fick. Walter is predeceased by his wife Julia L. Fick.
Walter came over from Germany in 1955 after finishing his apprenticeship in masonry. He continued his trade in the United States where he was sought after. Walter was a longtime volunteer firefighter with the South Schenectady Fire Department for over 60 years.
Walter is survived by his children Julie Bardin (Doug), Erna Bagdriwicz (James), Lisa LaMora (Anthony) and Walter Jr. Fick (Cassandra). He will also be missed by his 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Walter is also survived by his two brothers, Rudolf Fick and Werner Fick (Ursula).
The family would like to give a special thanks to Chris and Milley and friends from the Chuck Wagon Diner for being like a second family and giving him a great last birthday party.
