Walter Korzyk, Jr.

COLONIE – Walter J. Korzyk, Jr., 33, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 20, 2012, with his loving family by his side. Walter was currently working for Midas Auto Service in Albany for eleven years where he received Top Mechanic Award in both 2004 and 2005. He is the beloved son of Walter J. and Deborah L. Korzyk and the loving brother of Felicia A. Korzyk, all of Colonie. He is the devoted father of Alex Joseph and Rylee Arleine Korzyk. Walter is the cherished long-time partner of Andrea Newville who was the love of his life. He is the adored grandson of Ruth M. Korzyk of Albany and the late Joseph J. Korzyk and Joan A. Banker. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Theresa (Korzyk) and Tom Flynn of Voorheesville, Michael Korzyk and Joe and Kathy Korzyk, all of Albany, and Warren Inman and the late John H. Banker of Mooers, NY. Many cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. At the family's request, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Northeast Kidney Foundation, 99 Troy Road, Suite 200, East Greenbush, NY 12061 in memory of Walter J. Korzyk, Jr.
