Walter Nicholson

RENSSELAER – Walter F. Nicholson, 65, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 20, 2006, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Ralph and Evelyn. Mr. Nicholson was a life time member of the South Schodack Volunteer Fire Company. Walter is the beloved husband of 47 years to Alice A. Nicholson. He is the devoted father of Margaret A., Walter R., Anthony T. and James W. Nicholson; brother of Patricia, Marilyn and Terry. He is the cherished grandfather of Gina, Michele, Jessica, Crystal, Kayla, Brandon and the late Kirsten. He is the loving great-grandfather of Evan, Thomas, Cierra and Cody.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Rd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Walter F. Nicholson.
