Walter Stanton Wood II, 85, of Rotterdam, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
Walter was the son of the late Charles William Wood and Helen (Livingston) Wood, and he was the devoted husband to Jane E. (Williams) Wood. They were married 59 years.
Walter is survived by his wife Jane Wood, his children; Walter S. Wood III, Suzanne (Rick) Quay and Peggy (Edward) Paskevich, his grandchildren; Brett (Kelly) Quay, Joseph Paskevich, Amanda Paskevich, Kevin Paskevich and Jennifer Blackwell. Also survived by his beloved dogs, Lou Lou and Zack.
Funeral services will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Viewland Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Animal Protective Foundation (APF) 53 Maple Avenue, Scotia, NY 12302.
