ALBANY- Wanda M. Nowak , 94, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side.
Wanda was the daughter of the late John and Caroline Nowak.
Wanda was a woman of great faith, a devout Catholic. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Nowak and her brothers, Stanley and Edward Nowak.
She is survived by her son Robert E. Nowak and his wife, Paula; their children, Justin Nowak and Jenah Nowak and her sister-in-law, Carole Nowak; and many other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals , 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York on Wednesday October 31, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Interment will follow Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
The family wishes to offer their heartfelt gratitude to Pam Everly and Lynne Hallenbeck for their care and compassion.
