Warren Caulfield

Colonie- Warren H. Caulfield, 86, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Friday May 25, 2007 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. He was born in Earlton, NY and was the son of the late Timothy and Helen Kirk Caulfield.
Warren was a decorated WWI veteran in the US Army. He was an officer with the 82nd Airborne division and earned a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a partner in a lawn and garden distributorship in Albany for many years before his retirement. Warren was a longtime volunteer and mentor with (Score) Service Corp of Retired Executives.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Doris Simmonds Caulfield. He is the devoted father of Michelle Azeff (Robert) and Suzanne Klotz (Donald). He is the cherished grandfather of Stephen and Thomas Frowein, Liza and Michael Azeff; and Jesse and Dustin Klotz. He is the brother of Frederick Caulfield, Helen Shunk, Patricia Carmody and the late John, Edward, Gerard and Timothy Caulfield, Eileen Holm, Marie Hurley and Margaret Comes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 8:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
