Watson Olsiewski
March 14, 1925 — July 30, 2014
Halfmoon - Watson W. Olsiewski, 89, passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2014. He proudly served his country in The United States Army during WWII. Watson was also an active member of the American Legion Zaloga Post and other organizations.
Watson is survived by his grandson, James Olsiewski; his siblings, Edward Olsiewski, Charles Olsiewski and Stella Gasorowski; his two great-grandchildren and close friends Ruby Brew and Patricia Curtiss.
Watson was predeceased by his wife Gertrude and children, Walter, Mary and James.
A short service to honor Watson will be held at the American Legion Zaloga Post, 4 Everett Rd. Ext., Albany, NY 12205 on Monday August 4th at 6 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday August 5th at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Watson's name to the American Legion Zaloga Post.
