Wayne D. Cook

Wayne D Cook, 70, of Schenectady, passed away on November 29, 2024.

Born June 11, 1954, Wayne spent most of his career behind the wheel, first as a truck driver and later as a beloved cab driver within the Schenectady community.

A veteran, Wayne was honorably discharged from the Army, a testament to his dedication and service. Beyond his military and professional life, he was deeply passionate about music and model trains. His love for music was not just a hobby; he actively engaged in playing various instruments along to his favorite songs. 

Wayne’s personal life was marked by cherished relationships with his family. He is survived by his sisters, Sheila and Dale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Mansfield Cook, father Orrin W Cook Sr, his mother Marion Cook, and his siblings Michael, Allen, Orrin Jr, Diane and Peggy. 

Wayne’s life will be celebrated at a later date, as there are no services at this time.
