Wayne M. Schrimsher

Mechanicville- Wayne M. Schrimsher, 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Richard and Donna Schrimsher. Wayne was the devoted husband to Wendy M. Schrimsher. They were married 22 years.

Wayne worked as a driver his whole life, his most recent job was working for Suburban Medical Transportation.

Wayne enjoyed spending time with his entire family and loved cooking for them. He had a passion for watching Nascar, football, and the news. Wayne was an avid camper. He was a huge fan of the Giants. Wayne enjoyed spending his free time driving.

In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by his children, Heather E. (Andrew) Schrimsher, Jessica (Dominic) D'Ambrosi, Ashley (Tyler) Schrimsher, Yantanmay Austin, Patrick Carroll, and Harry Carroll; 18 grandchildren; his siblings, David (Kelly) Schrimsher, Tina (Larry) Ward, Lisa (Paul) Putnam, Frank (Patty) Schrimsher, and Richard (Tina) Schrimsher; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his grandson, Nathan D'Ambrosi; his siblings, Robert Schrimsher and Sheila White.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Friday September 2, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
