Wesley Bounds

SCHENECTADY - Wesley Bounds, 97, passed away on January 29, 2025 at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Wesley was born on June 16, 1927 in Truthville, NY and was the son of the late Herbert and Mary (Leach) Bounds.

Wesley worked as laborer for the Clark Myers Paving and after that he worked as a truck driver for the City of Schenectady, where he retired. He enjoyed taking rides with his wife, Irene and camping with family and friends.

Wesley is survived by his step-sons, Lawrence (Lillian) Scranton and James (Sharon) Scranton; his nephew, William (Connie) Bounds; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Irene (Blake) Bounds and his step-sons, Robert and Peter Scranton.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
