Albany- Wesley Frank Wagner, 61, a lifelong resident of the Altamont and Albany areas, died suddenly on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Albany, Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany, on March 12, 1946, Wesley was the son of the late Frank Lewis Wagner and Florence Jones Wagner. He was raised and educated in the Altamont area and later moved to Albany. He was employed at the Menands Price Chopper and New Visions where he leaves behind many loving friends and coworkers.
It is believed that Wesley is survived by his brother Fred Wagner; sister-in-law, Pat Wagner and nieces and nephews. Wesley also leaves behind his extended family within the New Visions Supported Apartment Program, who will miss his spontaneous laughter and joy of life. Wesley had a great love for family, friends, Harley's, camping and the outdoors.
"The secret of a good memory is attention, and attention to a subject depends upon our interest in it. We rarely forget that which has made a deep impression in our minds." Wesley has had our attention always, remembering him will bring both pain and pleasure to all who knew him and will miss him.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 PM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Jerusalem Cemetery, Feurabush. After the services, Wesley's friends and extended family will be holding a get together at 10 N. Main Street, Albany, all are welcome.
