William Albrecht

CLIFTON PARK- William J. Albrecht, 44, of Clifton Park, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 4, 2007. He was born in Albany and was a resident of Clifton Park for the past 15 years.
Bill was a graduate of Shaker High School and HVCC. He had worked for the Cranberry Bog Restaurant for several years and more recently with New York State Dept. of Taxation & Finance. He enjoyed camping, golfing, the ocean and spending time with his family and friends. Bill was a kind and gentle man that truly embraced his family and friends with genuine compassion and love. He was always willing to listen, put others first and lend a helping hand.
Bill is the beloved husband of Sandra Mooney Albrecht. He is the cherished son of Joseph and Marie Albrecht. He is the loving brother of Theresa DiGeronimo and Patricia Albrecht Licciardi. He is the son in law of Richard and Barbara Mooney. Bill is also survived by 5 nieces, a nephew and many dear family and special friends.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:15 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Francis de Sales Church , Maria Drive Loudonville at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday fro 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
