William Earl was born in Laurel, Mississippi on June 27, 1950 to the late Stella Ellis and James Arrington.
He was educated in the Laurel County School System. He moved to Albany, NY as a young man. After relocating to Albany, William Earl was employed by the Tobin Meat Packing Company, the Railroad, and numerous other jobs over the years.
William Earl was a one-of-a-kind, outspoken, passionate, free-spirited, and honest man. Agree or disagree, he lived his life on his own terms, and lived each day to the fullest.
William Earl was loved and respected by family and friends.
William Earl returned to the Lord on September 18, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories one son: Dachawn M. Arrington of Albany, NY, one sister: Zera Coleman of Laurel Mississippi, and two brothers: Hilbert Arrington and Earnest James Ruffin both of Albany, NY; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, longtime friend, Debbie Bigelow and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Stella Ellis and James Arrington, a son, William Arrington, one sister Dessi B. Williams and four brothers: Herman D., Raymond C., Jerry D. Arrington. and James "Candyman" Arrington.
