William D. Desmond

Albany- William Daniel "Danny" Desmond, 55, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Troy he was the son of the late William D. Desmond, Sr. and Alvina Desmond. Danny was a self employed handyman / carpenter by trade working for various companies in the area. He was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed fishing, camping and just being outdoors.
Danny is survived by his daughter Laura Desmond of Chicago, his granddaughter Rosa Desmond of Chicago, his brother Carl Desmond and wife Margaret of Colonie, and his two sisters, Christine Desmond of Bennington, VT and Diane Marzinsky and husband Robert of Gansevoort. He is also survived by his aunt Joyce Miller of Vermont, 5 nephews, 1 niece and his former wife Tracy Duane.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Hospital Foundation, 319 S.
