William H. Decker Sr.

Albany- William H. Decker Sr., 67, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017.
William was born in Albany, NY on July 30, 1950 to the late Charles and Beatrice Decker. William served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. from 1967-1974. He was the proud owner of Decker's Plumbing and Heating for over 35 years. He was the commander of the VFW Post 1019. William will be remembered for his love of the casino, deep sea fishing, and Sunday drives. His passion in life was his family.
He is predeceased by his companion, Shirley Rockenstire, and his brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Edward, Charles, Leonard, and Vince.
He is survived by his children, Judith (Joe) Kennedy, William Decker Jr., Charles Decker, and Billie Jo (Sean) Smith, his grandchildren, Brittany, Cameron, Savannah, and Joey, his companion, Maureen Weldon, his sister, Shirley Kile, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10am. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
