William E. Goblet, Jr.

BERNE – William E. Goblet, Jr. 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness.
Bill served in the United States Marine Corps and the New York State Police for 20 years. He worked several other jobs and served as Supervisor for the Town of Wright. Bill was a member of Gallupville Gospel Church.
Bill is survived by his wife Linda; children Jessica Bashwinger, Allison Gaylor, Eric Goblet and James Goblet; stepsons Robert and James Chase, Jr.; sister Paulette Ford; grandchildren Lane, Ashley, Cooper, Dallas, Zack and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Gallupville Gospel Church, Schoharie. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Bill's name.
