William E. Rucinski, Sr.

William E. Rucinski, Sr., 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Wesley Health Care Center, Saratoga Springs with his family by his side. Bill was born in New Haven, CT. to the late Theodore and Alice Rucinski. Bill proudly served with the United States Army and later would work for the Albany County Real Property Investigators. Bill loved to fish and was very active with youth sports.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of over 54 years, Patricia (Donnelly) Rucinski; his children, Bill (Nora) Rucinski, Jr., Laurie (Dick) Schlansker, Brian (Judy) Rucinski; his grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Beth, Kevin, Brian, Kelly, Jessica, Katie; he is also survived by two brothers.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Wesley Health Center, especially the 4th floor Springs for all of their care and compassion given to Bill. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the The Wesley Foundation 131 Lawrence Street Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in Bill's memory.
Family and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Pius X, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, a calling hour will preceded the Mass from 9 to 10 at the Church. Interment will follow the Mass at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
