ALBANY – William "Bill" F. Dunn, 51, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his home.
Bill was born on October 7, 1953 in Albany and was the son of the late Michael Peter and Rose E. Zinzow Dunn. He served in the US Army during Vietnam from 1971 to 1972. He worked in maintenance at the Water Department for the City of Albany.
Bill loved long walks and was an avid reader. He also loved the Saratoga races and he volunteered at the Albany VA Hospital.
Bill is the brother of Michael P. (Donna) Dunn, Linda R. Dunn, Diane B. Dunn, Patricia A. (Phillip) McGeough, John M. (Karen) Dunn, Kathy (Shawn) Roff, Peggy (Jim) Christian and Shelly (Bruce) Van Epps. He is the best friend of Tudi Oropallo and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Francis W. Dunn.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament 609 Central Ave. at Colby St. in Albany.
