William F. Lynch, 74, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Bill was born on August 16, 1941 in Troy, NY to the late William Lynch and Elizabeth Lund.
He leaves memories to be cherished by his beloved wife of 54 years, Helen; daughters, Kim Brant (John) and Kellie Lynch (Jeff); brother, Todd Lynch; and his grandchildren, Amanda Thouin, Ashley Brant, Jason and Andrew.
He retired from the State of New York and has been a resident of The Villages, FL for 4 years. He will be remembered as an avid golfer, dancer, and most of all, a wonderful husband, father and friend. He will be truly missed and forever in our heart.
Family will greet friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Monday, June 20,2016 at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 21st at Our Lady of the Assumption, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Rd, Latham. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bill to: Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.
