ALBANY – William F. "Buzzy" McHale, 67, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital.
William was born on September 20, 1940 in Albany and was the son of the late John J. and Mary L. (Corr) McHale. He owned and operated Buzzy's Taxi in Albany for many years until he retired in 1999. He also worked as a bartender for many establishments in the Albany area. He was a member of the Elks B.P.O. Albany Lodge No. 49 and he enjoyed golfing.
William is survived by his wife, Kathleen M. (Maloney) McHale of Westerlo; his children, John J. McHale of Aurora, OH, William F. McHale, Jr., Shannon K. McHale of Greenville, NY, Kerin P. McHale of Westerlo and Audra H. McHale of East Berne; his grandsons, Matthew and Sean McHale of Aurora, OH and his brother, John J. "Mickey" (Carolyn) McHale of Ruston, LA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Holy Family Parish, Albany where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
