William A. Hatch, 77, of Cropseyville, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital in Albany. Born in North Pownal, Vermont, he was the son of the late Marion (Gannon) and Cornelius Hatch. He was a Proud Veteran of the US Marines. He was a member of the American Legion #1489, Wynantskill.
Bill worked for Wynantskill School District as a Bus Driver/Custodian and after retirement, enjoyed working for Manheim Auto Auctions in Clifton Park. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.
He was the beloved lifetime partner of the late Rosilynn LaPointe.
Memorial Gathering will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Albany. Inurnment with Full Military Honors will take place on Monday, September 19, 1:00 pm at The Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y.
