William E. Hauf

ALTAMONT- William "Bill" E. Hauf, age 69, passed away surrounded by family on December 9, 2022.
He was born in Albany, the son of the late John and Renna Hauf. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia Hauf in 2009 and his companion Mary Jean Riley in 2022.
Bill retired from CSX railroad as a Conductor. He enjoyed the beach, casinos and working in his garden.
He is survived by his children: Billy Hauf, Marcus Hauf, Matthew Hauf, Adam Reinemann (Victoria), Kendra Reinemann (Nico), Crystal Christian (Carl), Nicole Reinemann, Melissa Wolcott (Paul); sisters: Pat Manning (Jim) and Judy Frink (Bob). Also survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Wednesday December 14, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
