TROY - William James Hope, 52, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his home.
Bill was born on July 1, 1968 in Albany, son of Linda (Morgans) Moon and the late Joseph G. Hope, Sr. He graduated from Watervliet High School. He loved sports, especially football, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved movies, camping and spending time with family, especially his granddaughters.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his companion of many years, Tina Colaruotolo; daughter, Stephanie Hope; his brother, Joseph G. (Kirsten Whitman-Hope) Hope, Jr.; his nieces, Sarah and Victoria Hope; his granddaughters, Mackenzie and Madison; and also aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet with a calling hour preceding the service from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
