William J. Glasser, 87, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2014 at Glendale Nursing Home.
William was born March 3, 1927 in Manhattanville, NY to Leonard and Mary Glasser.
William proudly served with the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, William was also preceded by his brother John Glasser and his grandchildren Erica and Nicholas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marian Glasser, his three daughters, Sharon Gorr, Susan Lasher and Paula Zellar, he is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 21, 2014 at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
