William J. Kaminski, Sr.

GUILDERLAND – William J. Kaminski, Sr., 65, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a brief illness. Born in Albany, he was the son of Beatrice Kaminski and the late Sigmund Kaminski.
William worked as a chef at Mercycare Nursing Home and retired after 8 years of service. He enjoyed coin collecting, fishing and watching the Yankees. William loved playing cards with his grandchildren and cooking everyone his famous eggs.
William is survived by his wife of 41 years, Corliss Kaminski; children William J. (Heathermae) Kaminski, Jr. of Schenectady and Bonnie (Christopher) Rosenthal of Guilderland; brother Robert Kaminski of Florida; grandchildren Bryanna Rosenthal, Jarod Rosenthal, Derrick Kaminski and Cheyenne Kaminski, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
