ALBANY - William D. Johnson, 41, of Albany passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 20, 2012. William was born in Troy, NY and was a life resident of Albany. He was a Corrections Officer for Albany County Sherriff's Department for 19 years. William is the beloved husband of Alison Wilson Johnson of Albany, the loving father of Olivia Rose Johnson of Albany and William Johnson, Jr. of Latham. He is also survived by his parents David L. Johnson (Doris) of Cohoes and Pamela J. Kelly (Bob) of Latham, his sister Karen (Johnson) Swedick of Voorheesville and his niece Kennedy Swedick of Voorheesville. William also leaves behind his father-in-law and mother-in-law Steve and Donna Wilson of Colonie, brothers-in-law Tim (Melissa) Wilson of Watertown, MA and Chris Wilson (Shannon McCarthy) of Saratoga, and many aunts and uncles. William was predeceased by his Nan Jane Wilson.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, October 26, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville.
