ALBANY - William Keith Lester, age 53 passed away at home after suffering a fatal heart attack on Thursday, November 6, 2014. He was born and raised in the Bronx.
William attended Columbia University and then moved to Albany, where he met and married the love of his life Dorothy Rowlett Lester. He worked as the Billings Director at Whitney M Young Jr. Health Center for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Lester; son Brandon; daughter Dorothea, and his granddaughter Daomi "Boonka".
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
