William C. Kuchta, Sr.

March 17, 1970 — September 4, 2020

William C. Kuchta, Sr. "Billy" of Albany, N.Y, born on March 17th, 1970 passed peacefully September 4th, 2020 with his family by his side.
Billy was predeceased by his parents Deborah (Kahl) and William Kuchta.
He is survived by his children William Jr., Victoria, Megan; sister Kahla (Gary Rainstrom Jr.), Aunt Sue Brizzell; close cousin Steven Brizzell; as well as many other close cousins and friends.
Billy aka "Hollywood" formerly worked for Best Paving, Bubonia Paving, and Jake's Towing. A special thank you to Richard, Steve and Jerry for all that you did for him. Over the past few years, Billy had many conversations regarding all of experiences that you guys had shared, whether it was work related or just for fun and he was so grateful to have you, as well as your families, in his life.
Billy lived his life to his fullest, although his time here with us was cut way too short. He was always very helpful, giving, loving, caring and friendly. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was especially fond of a good home-cooked meal.
Billy was kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold and would help those in need. For those that knew him, he was quite the conversationalist; he loved discussing food (especially his mother's recipes), tv shows, previous jobs he worked on, former co-workers, a family trip we took to Hampton Beach, all the good memories of all different kinds and last but not least, his family and children.
Billy received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. His new journey takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, fishing and driving tractor trailers to his heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. He left detailed instructions for his family and friends to celebrate his mission here, which has now been completed.

"When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.

Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done,
Forget that I ever had a heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.

Forget that I have stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles and won,
Ere the close of the day,

Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay

And come in the evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west,
Stand for a few moments besides me
And remember only my best."

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
