ALBANY – William Michael Deeb, 86, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Glens Falls, he was the youngest of eleven children born to the late Michael and Emma Deeb. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS LSM 198 as a Seaman, 2nd Class. William worked as a truck driver for Adam Ross Cut Stone before his retirement. He enjoyed hanging out having coffee and trading stories with the guys at the Westgate Diner.
William was the beloved husband of the late Helene Rose Deeb. He is the devoted father of Pamela (Martin) Lawlor. William is the loving brother of Sadie Futterer. He is the cherished grandfather of Bobbie-Jo (Chris) Nusbaum and Michael (Valerie) Brecht. He is the adored great-grandfather of Jolie-Ann and Andrew Nusbaum. William is the uncle of Wayne (Mary) Woodcock, Anthony (Nilda) Woodcock, Robert Busch and the late Cheryl Woodcock. Also surviving are many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Joy of Troy Indigent Fund, 600 Third Ave., Troy, NY 12182 in memory of William M. Deeb.
