William "Bill" Moran

William P. Moran age 77 of Albany, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. Bill was born in Albany, and predeceased by his parents William and Mary (Lanzarotta) Moran. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years Arleen deGonzague.

He was a graduate of Vincentian Institute, Albany and Hudson Valley CC. Bill worked as a field computer specialist at MAI (Management Assistance Inc.), Basic/Four Corp. and Sorbus for many years.

Bill is survived by his sisters Marianne Moran (Mike Ames) and Patricia McCarthy (Francis) and by several nephews, nieces, and great nieces. Bill will be missed by his lifelong best friends Bob Ristau and Jack Lupe, and his faithful cat Jo-Jo who was always by his side.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday June, 4, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service at the funeral home will begin at 3pm A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Zion’s United Church of Christ of Taborton Cemetery.
