Albany- William J. Rafferty "Iggy", 90, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. Born in Albany he was the son of the late
Thomas and Mary Rafferty. He is predeceased by his wife Virginia "Red" Rafferty.
Iggy is survived by his children; Suzanne Tice (Leslie), Joanne Rafferty (Rick), Christine Guizard (Paul) and Patrick Rafferty (Heather). He will also be missed by grandchildren: Sarah, Trisha, Timothy, Jenna, Jonathan, Spencer and Jessica. He is also survived by his eight great grandchildren and his sister Doris Valerio.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 from 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. Services will start at 12pm.
Burial will take place on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Saratoga National.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Church Food Pantry, 31 Vly Road, Colonie, NY 12205
