William F. Schlomberg

June 12, 1957 — March 15, 2021

William F. Schlomberg, 63, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 with his wife by his side.

Bill was the son of the late Carl and Florence Schlomberg. He was the devoted husband of over 30 years, to Michelle M. Schlomberg.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Bill graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy in 1980 and practiced as a registered Pharmacist for many years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved teasing people. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed going to the Saratoga Race Track and Rivers Casino. The thing that was most precious to him was spending time with his daughter and his wife, especially on their yearly vacations to Disney.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Melody F. Schlomberg.

Bill is survived by his wife, Shelly, his daughter, Michelle (Chris) Fox. He is the brother of Carl G. (Patti) Schlomberg, Audrey (Lee) Friedman. He is also survived by his faithful canine companion Diesel, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Friday March 19, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday March 20, 2021 at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Albany, NY.

Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
