Latham- William Peter Taggart, Jr. "Billy", 57, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. William was the son of the late William and Therese Taggart of Westchester County, New York.
Billy enjoyed music, sports, and spending time with his family. He loved vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine at the beach.
Billy is survived by his siblings, Leo Taggart, Jeanne (Steve) Calleran, Mary (Mark) Fanning, Anne Cunningham, and Cynthia Taggart; nieces, Sarah Lyn (Haik) Hovnanian, Kathryn Taggart, Theresa (Andrew) Bub, Brynne Calleran, Lindsay Calleran, Teren (Nathan) Cabrera, Caitlyn (Pasquale) DiLena, and Alysha (Jermaine) Gordon; nephews, Michael (Victoria) Taggart, Kevin (Lisa) Cunningham, Taylor (Mallory) Fanning, and Kyle (Tiffany) Fanning; grandniece, Luciana; grandnephews, Leo, Brayden, Anderson, and Haik Joseph; and many friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Saturday October 2, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place following the service at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Delatour Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Billy's name to the Capital City Rescue Mission at https://give.capitalcityrescuemission.org/give
