William W. Golding

December 6, 1942 — January 7, 2012

VOORHEESVILLE – William Ward Golding, passed away quietly on Saturday morning, January 7, 2012, with his family by his side. Bill was loyal to his beloved wife, Patricia, his devoted sons, Daniel and Thomas and his cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Eliah, William, Matthew and Emily. He is the loving great-grandfather of Sierah, Safiyah and Kaydence. Also surviving is his brother, Rick Golding and his wife, Evelyn and their loving children, as well as his sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Sonny Vanwormer and Donna and Michael Casey and their loving children. Bill lived his life for his family, whether it be the children's wrestling, hockey or water sports. He had the patience of a saint in teaching the kids how to water ski at his beloved Indian Lake. Bill rarely missed a game to watch his granddaughter pitch high school softball and followed his grandsons wrestling career with passion. He and his wife Pat enjoyed traveling, most recently on a cruise to Alaska with their true and dear friends, Eileen and Allen Salisbury.
